Return & Exchange Policy

Order Cancellation:

Orders can be modified or canceled only while their status is labeled "Unfulfilled". Once an order has a status of "Fulfillment in Progress/Fulfilled/Shipped/In Transit/Ready for Pickup", it cannot be canceled or modified, as the order has been processed and is ready or has been sent for shipping. For any cancellation request, a Books and You Gift Card with lifetime validity of equivalent value will be issued.

Return & Exchange:

We make every effort to ensure that books are not damaged in transit or handling. However, if any book is damaged in transit, it will be replaced by us once details are shared with us and the same is reviewed by our team.

- If the item delivered is damaged or incorrect, please reach out to us at info@booksandyou.in within 2 days of receiving the order. We may require additional information to determine the damage was caused during transit.

- Once the return is approved, the products will need to be shipped to our location for an exchange/replacement within 3 days. We will return/refund the shipping cost involved if a return pick up is not possible to be arranged.  

Refunds:

If a refund is necessary, the amount will be returned to the original payment method used during purchase. The refund process will be initiated within 5 days of confirming the eligibility for a refund. Once initiated, it may take 7 to 10 business days for the refund to be credited back to your account.
