Emily inquired, "Monty, why aren't you laughing?" Thomas chimed in, "He has lost his sense of humor." Mrs. Horton's face turned red with laughter. Concerned, she looked at Monty and remarked, "You seem worried, Monty." Monty, however, corrected her, exclaiming, "Worried? I was terrified! Losing my sense of humor was no laughing matter!"
