Art Adventures 2

Art Adventure 2 by Sara Vetteth is a hands-on art activity book that invites children to experiment with colour, shapes, textures, composition, and different artistic styles. Through guided artworks, playful activities, and stories about artists from India and around the world, young artists can explore creative ideas and find inspiration in the world around them.

From mixing colours and using the colour wheel to creating geometric robots, cubist portraits, family portraits, and nature-inspired artwork, the book offers a wide range of creative projects. Children can also experiment with natural dyes, positive and negative space, blending, patterns, light and shadow, and even create their own mural.

About This Book

Art Adventure 2 takes children through a variety of art concepts and practical activities designed around observation and experimentation. The projects introduce artistic techniques while encouraging young readers to look closely at everyday surroundings and translate what they see into creative work.

The book explores a wide range of subjects, including cacti, tropical birds, forests, mountains, rivers, and oceans. Alongside these nature-inspired themes, children can experiment with geometric forms, portraits, colour combinations, textures, and composition.
