A neighboring Gaulish chief enlists Asterix's village to guard a cauldron full of money from the Romans. However, the chief secretly plans to steal it back. Just as Asterix is standing watch, the chief double-crosses everyone. Now, it's up to Asterix and Obelix to track down the thief and recover the stolen riches!
