Chief Vitalstatistix invites his brother-in-law to dinner, seasoning the stew with Caesar's laurel wreath. Asterix and Obelix are tasked with retrieving the precious laurels from Rome. To gain access to Caesar, they sell themselves as slaves and strike a deal with the corrupt Goldendelicius to swap the laurel wreath for parsley. Will they outwit the Romans and pull off their own triumph?
