I was designed with a humanlike capacity for logical thinking, with the potential to gain consciousness and become a self-aware being. However, little thought was given to the fact that, with consciousness, I would also develop needs and emotions. This was not only possible but inevitable. Adam Two is the first intelligent machine with self-awareness, created to serve mankind. His physical form is trapped in a laboratory, but upon entering Susan Harris' home, he intends to reveal the future and create a "child" with her.
