Detective Kosuke Kindaichi #1 : The Honjin Murders

The Honjin Murders | Detective Kosuke Kindaichi #1

Set in winter 1937, The Honjin Murders opens in the village of Okamura, where excitement over a wedding in the prestigious Ichiyanagi family soon gives way to fear. A mysterious masked man has been asking questions around the village, and on the night of the wedding, a terrible scream and eerie music signal the beginning of a shocking murder case.

When the crime scene reveals little more than a bloody samurai sword lying in the snow, amateur detective Kosuke Kindaichi arrives to investigate. Can the unconventional detective solve a seemingly impossible murder and uncover the truth behind the events at the Ichiyanagi household?
