As the clock strikes midnight in Crackledawn, a magical aura engulfs the surroundings. Deep in the ocean, sea dragons awaken, while silver whales emerge from beneath the moonlit waves, and sand goblins gather on the shores, eagerly waiting for the phoenix, the guardian of the kingdom's magic, to rise from the forests of Everdark.
However, to everyone's dismay, the phoenix is nowhere to be seen tonight. Instead, an unexpected visitor surfaces from Everdark - a harpy with an intention to steal Crackledawn's magic.
Now, it's up to Smudge, an eleven-year-old girl, and her unusual companion, Bartholomew the monkey, to embark on a perilous journey beyond the treacherous Northswirl and put an end to the harpy's malicious plans before it's too late.
So, prepare your compass and ready your sails, as the first chapter of THE UNMAPPED CHRONICLES unfolds before you.
