Nancy and her friends are facing a new challenge in the fourth book of the Nancy Drew Diaries. A series of crimes in a neighboring town mimic the plots of famous mystery writer Lacey O’Brien’s books. A bookstore burns down, a boat sinks, and a valuable dog is stolen. Is Lacey behind the crimes for publicity? Or is it one of her superfans? Perhaps Paige Samuels, the owner of the burned bookstore, is seeking revenge. Nancy, Bess, and George must use all their wits to unravel the mystery and solve the dangerous case.
