Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less by Jeffrey Archer
Harvey Metcalfe, a lifelong king of shady deals, has pulled off a con of epic proportions, swindling four men out of one million dollars with promises of an oil bonanza and instant wealth. Overnight, these men—an heir to an earldom, a Harley Street doctor, a Bond Street art dealer, and an Oxford don—find themselves penniless. But Harvey has made a grave mistake: he's swindled the wrong men.
United by a shared goal to get back every cent they lost, the four victims band together to exact revenge. They set a plan in motion that takes them from the luxurious casinos of Monte Carlo to the high-stakes windows of Ascot and the prestigious halls of Oxford. Their mission: to recover every penny they lost from the man who deceived them.
In Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less, Jeffrey Archer crafts a brilliant, fast-paced tale of revenge, wit, and strategy, as the four men outsmart Harvey and weave a trap to ensure that he pays for his greed. Full of clever twists, suspense, and unexpected turns, this thrilling adventure is a delightful ride from start to finish.
