Novel Educational Read & Colour Word Families

Read and Colour Word Families will provide practise in the recognition of patterns within words and blending sounds together to make words. The students are asked to write the missing sounds in the words. They then find the sounds within a large picture and colour it using the colour code given.The word families treated are ab, ad, ag, am, an, ap, at, ax, ib, id, ig, im, in, ip, it, ob, od, og, op, ot, ub, ug, um, un, ut, ed, eg, en, et.
