Rabindranath Tagore The Real Artist

Though Tagore belonged to a wealthy family, he never cared for money. Instead, he believed firmly in the wealth of art, literature and education. This thought is reflected in his story of Satyavati and her little son, Chunilal, who finds pure joy in creating unusual works of art which others find strange and frivolous. The story upholds the importance of creativity over the reckless pursuit of money.
