The Christmas Bear

The little polar bear had lived in the toyshop for ages. He sat sadly between a yellow monkey and a beautiful doll, and no one wanted to buy him because he didn’t look like a teddy bear. As Christmas approached, the little polar bear grew hopeful. Surely he would be sold now. But though the yellow monkey and the beautiful doll both found new owners, the little polar bear still sat alone on his high shelf. Would he ever find a child to love him at this very special time of year?
