Laura forms a close bond with a small lamb, affectionately named Lollylegs, and dreams of keeping him forever. However, Laura's father brings a lamb home to contribute to the school fete, intending to give it away. As the days pass, Laura assumes responsibility for caring for the lamb, Lollylegs.

But as the week draws to a close, the prospect of parting with Lollylegs becomes unbearable for Laura. Determined to keep her beloved friend, she embarks on a mission to raise money and buy as many raffle tickets as possible in the hope of winning Lollylegs back. The question remains: Will Laura's heartfelt plan to retain Lollylegs succeed?
