John and his family are perpetual nomads, living in a trailer towed by their trusty cob, Pie, and they seldom linger in one location for an extended period. Each new town marks the beginning of another round of adjustments and John isn't exactly thrilled about starting at yet another new school. However, amidst these uncertainties, he crosses paths with a kindred spirit named Tom, a fellow horse enthusiast who shares his passion for these magnificent creatures.
