In the shadow of London’s explosions, spy Miles Flint faces a quieter but equally devastating battlefield—his own life. Miles is a watcher, a listener, and a reporter, content to remain in the shadows, observing the secret lives of others while avoiding the spotlight himself. But when a botched case leads to catastrophic consequences, his carefully compartmentalized existence begins to unravel.
A new assignment brings him closer to a young Irishwoman, but what starts as professional detachment turns dangerously personal. As his obsession with the case deepens, his marriage crumbles, and even his once-safe home feels like a trap closing in around him.
Given one final chance to redeem himself, Miles is sent to Belfast, a city on edge. What begins as a routine mission quickly spirals into a nightmare of terror, murder, and revelations that challenge everything he thought he knew.
In a world where violence lurks behind every shadow and betrayal is a constant companion, can a man who thrives on voyeurism survive when forced to take action? An Eye to the Storm is a taut, gripping thriller that explores the cost of loyalty, the pull of human connection, and the fine line between observer and participant in a dangerous game.
